Join us for the 6th annual California Student Conclave March 17, 2018 at Mount St. Mary's University and network with PT and PTA students, attend cutting-edge lab & lectures, meet recruiters and see how you can get involved with CPTA and make a difference.

This is the most exciting time to be a PT or PTA in California in recent history. Our profession has advanced to the doctorate level, achieved direct access and we are recognized as the experts in human movement and function. The future of physical therapy is now in your hands as upcoming new professionals. CPTA wants to make sure that you have every tool you need to successfully enter the workforce and continue advancing our profession. Join us for the California Student Conclave March 17 at Mount St. Mary's University and network with PT and PTA students, attend cutting-edge lectures, meet recruiters and see how you can get involved with CPTA and make a difference.

This event will bring nearly 175 PT and PTA students representing over 25 schools to one location giving students the opportunity to prepare for their futures post-graduation and start networking today!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be received in writing, and may be emailed to Full refund less 20% administrative fee if cancellation is received by March 9, 2018. No refunds after March 9, 2018.


Session Programming

Check out the schedule of events, including the Student Bowl, and access session handouts. Please note: All programming is open on a first-come, first-served basis with the exception of the labs. The labs are limited in space, and if you register for a lab, your spot will be reserved.

Road Trip with a group of students to save on gas!


Home to the associate of arts programs as well as co-ed weekend college and graduate programs, the Doheny Campus is located near the heart of Los Angeles on the historic and tranquil estate once owned by the Doheny family. This downtown oasis is close to the Museum of Natural History, the California Science Center, and USC. Campus buildings are a collection of Victorian-style residences surrounded by exotic trees and flowers on two gated, private city blocks.


From the 10 Freeway east

Exit at Hoover, go south for 3/4 mile

Turn left on Adams

Left on St. James Place.

At the end of the street, turn right.

The campus entrance is straight ahead.

From the 10 Freeway west

Take Exit 13 for Harbor Fwy toward San Pedro/110.

Continue with the directions for the 110 Freeway south below.

From the 110 Freeway south

Take the 10 Freeway East exit from the 110, and immediately veer to the left towards the Adams exit

Veer to the right to the off-ramp (note: the Adams exit cannot be accessed directly from the 110 Freeway South, due to construction).

At the bottom of the Adams off-ramp, proceed straight through the stoplight

Turn right on Figueroa at the stop sign.

Turn right on Adams and right on St. James Place.

At the end of the street, turn right.

The campus entrance is straight ahead.

From the 110 Freeway north

Exit at Adams.

Turn left on Adams and right on St. James Place.

At the end of the street, turn right.

The campus entrance is straight ahead.


Bunk-up with other students from your school and share a hotel room to save money.



Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided with your registration but bring extra cash for after hours social activities.

Student Bowl

The 2018 Student Bowl will be held on the evening of Conclave and will include teams of 3-5 persons per PT or PTA program that will compete in a fast paced jeopardy style competition to see which PT and PTA program has the "brainiest" students! Learn more
